The Institute for the Study of Law, Justice and Society (IDEJUS) is the first and only Implementation Unit of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) that focuses specifically on the study of Law and Legal Sciences. This Institute of double-dependency is linked to CONICET through the Scientific and Technological Centre (CCT) of Córdoba and to the National University of Córdoba (UNC) through the Faculty of Law.
Its main objectives are to produce high-quality academic output, make research transfer, stimulate democratic circulation of knowledge and provide training for researchers. It also seeks to take part in the legal and social debate, contributing to the development of better public policies.
IDEJUS fosters interdisciplinary research grounded in critical thinking and scientific, democratic and social commitment. Thanks to its close partnership with other national and international institutions, IDEJUS has become a reference institution in the field of legal and social sciences.
